Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a psychological therapy which uses trance or an altered state of conscious awareness to create change and encourage healing. It is a collaborative process that focuses the attention and relaxes the body and mind allowing the unconscious to communicate with the conscious mind. A trance is like day dreaming or the state between waking and sleeping, many people say trance is like a deep state of relaxation.

Hypnotherapy uses a range of techniques including metaphor, storytelling and direct suggestion to work with a variety of issues from stress and anxiety to weight loss and stopping smoking. In order for change to occur and for you to benefit from the process you have to be willing to engage fully and be committed and motivated to change.

Sessions last for two hours and are charged at £20 per session.
